A Perfect 6-9 Inches, for Eating! Showing Large Early Russian Cucumbers for Seed.

The vines are showing signs of fatigue & the very large cucumbers are changing color. Here I show the size difference between cucumbers that are good for eating & ones left to mature for viable seeds. They will sit in a cool dim spot for 2-3 weeks before I will gently slice open to collect seed for the fermentation process. Any seed encased in gelatenous goo, such as tomato & cucumber some melons need to be put in a jar w/ a couple spoons of water. Put a lid on it & for the next three days give it a gentle swish. After the third day place seeds in strainer, rinse clean & place seeds on a paper plate in a cool dim area to dry before storing. As Always, With Kind Regards & Respect, Adrienne
