Tomato, watermelon, winter squash, bell peppers can all be consumed when seed saving. The bell peppers are the easiest. Just scrape & plate to dry. The watermelon & squash are scooped, rinsed with a mild soap solution, cleaned thoroughly then plated to dry. Watermelon seeds are edible too! As far as I know so are squash. Tomatoes are perfect for seed collection when fully ripe & great to eat. Ferment tomato seeds in a glass jar w/ a bit of water for 3-4 days. Rinse clean in appropriate size strainer. Then plate them to dry full before packaging. As with all seeds make sure they are dry before short or long term storage. Get growing! With Kind Regards & Respect, Adrienne
