Tacos Episode 2 Clip 2

Cooking in College with Paige On the Menu: Fiesta Tacos Ingredients: •1 lb Ground Beef •Taco Seasoning mix •1 can Refried Beans (optional) •Salsa •Tortillas or hard shells (depending on your preference) •Sour Cream •Lettuce •Tomato •Shredded Cheese Steps: Ground Beef 1.Heat medium saucepan to medium-high heat, add ground beef to pan, stirring constantly to break up the meat. 2.After meat is COMPLETLEY browned, strain grease out of meat (in strainer or by scooping grease out with a spoon). 3.Return meat to pan and add taco seasoning mix and stir (a little water may need to be added for easier movement throughout the meat). Refried beans 1.Heat medium saucepan to medium- low heat, empty can in pan, and stir occasionally to heat beans throughout. Tortillas 1.Plate 3-4 tortillas, with a paper towel in between each layer, microwave for 30-40sec. Toppings 1.Chop head of lettuce until shredded. 2.Chop tomato to desired size. 3.Place lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, shredded cheese (and any other topping your heart desires) into serving bowls. FINAL STEP: Fill tortilla with meat and refried beans, dress with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, cheese, (and any other topping you choose) and enjoy!
